Like we promised, here's one of the new floats you'll see next Thursday in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.

This float is sponsored by the Oneida Indian Nation. Called the "Meaning of Thanksgiving," this float features a "tree of peace" with a bald eagle on top of it growing out of the back of a giant turtle. On the turtle's feet are pictographs telling the stories of how the various American Indian tribes dispersed throughout North America.

"Meaning of Thanksgiving" is one of the eight brand-new floats you'll see in the Thanksgiving Parade this year, all created right here in Hoboken.
